Bolivian Rosewood is a stunning hardwood from South America that is known by many names on the world market (Santos Rosewood, Morado, Pau Ferro). But what’s in a name, anyway, when we’re talking about such an attractive species as this? Our Exhibition Grade Bolivian Rosewood features delightful mocha coffee colors, augmented by dark ribbon bands of black ripple. There’s a gorgeous depth to the shifting color patterns on these you just can’t see in photographs. Mounted on your black Fostex headphone frame, these are guaranteed to look amazing.

A stunning wood as you can easily see, this Central American beauty features black landscape grain patterns on top of a deep brown backdrop. Our Museum Grade Ziricote is as good as it gets. Ziricote can sometimes be a tricky wood to work with and is hard to obtain at a quality level like this, so we expect a very limited supply. You demanded it, and we’ve come through with some of the most dramatic cups in our collection!

Our Instrument Grade Chambers feature quality woods from billets that were specially selected for use in the making of fine musical instruments, drawn from the absolute cream of the commercially available supply.

Our Exhibition Grade Chambers are made from specially obtained private reserve stock, featuring premium figure, grain and color. The industry labels such wood “exhibition grade” for its rarity, beauty, and desirability.

Our top Museum Grade Chambers feature true heirloom woods from amazing one-of-a-kind boards. These Chambers truly epitomize and demonstrate the best qualities of that wood, with textbook grain patterns and coloration.

Macassar Ebony

A fantastic ebony species from Southeast Asia, sometimes called “Striped Ebony” for its prominent bands of chocolate brown.

Macassar Ebony has a subtly different look to it when compared to the African (Gabon) Ebony species, in that its “black” color is more like the darkest possible shade of brown just before it crosses over into pure black itself. This creates a nice depth to the coloration unique to this species. Combine that with the dramatic brown striping and you have one gorgeous set of cups! We have only limited quantities of this rare wood.

Each set of our Museum Grade Classic Cocobolo will be unique and unlike any other we produce. In general, the colors will lean toward the more traditional browns and blacks this wood is known for. Overall, the Classic Cocobolo pairs will tend to be darker and richer in color than the Wild Cocobolo, but with a more “stripe-y” grain pattern like that featured on the pair pictured here. We have collected the absolute best quality Cocobolo for our Museum Grade, we can’t wait to make an amazing pair just for you!
