Comments: Copper browns in bold bands of alternating shades, subtle strawberry/pink accents, with some darker umber stripes, 3D cat’s eye effect shifts as you change angles.

Wood: Kalantus Cedar.

Density/Weight: Light density, low weight, soft.

Free Damping: Heavier damping recommended.

Comments: Like a dark and moody night, with thin clouds rolling in and obscuring a bright full moon. Stray beams of moonlight create an ominous glow behind the dark clouds. The effect is dramatic, and shifts and moves when you change angles.

Wood: Tasmanian Blackwood.

Density/Weight: Low-medium density, medium weight and slightly softer.

Free Damping: Heavier damping recommended.

Comments: Awesomely rich bands of wheat and bronze with dark brown/black stripes, resembling a fur coat from some exotic animal. The real magic of these cups is the way they just light up with a golden glow when held at an angle. Believe it or not, the top photos are of the same pair.
